Wannes Van Landeghem got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 39th match minute, Lords Of Dogtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wannes Van Landeghem to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lords Of Dogtown's goalkeeper Sven Petris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lennart Van den Bossche to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven Petris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Vercruysse, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Lords Of Dogtown getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Richmond Ingelborchs hit a great ball. Lennart Van den Bossche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sven Petris made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge KV's Stan De Custer got a free kick in the 60th minute. Lennart Van den Bossche took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Petris. Sven Petris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Ief Provoost scored 1-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartjan Van de kauter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st match minute, Lords Of Dogtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvain Loots to maneuver through the defense. Lennart Van den Bossche was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Club Brugge KV's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Arno Vercruysse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Arno Vercruysse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Brugge KV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lords Of Dogtown the free kick. In the 77th minute, Arno Vercruysse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes, Ritchie Decremer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Brugge KV and the Lords Of Dogtown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, one of Club Brugge KV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Brugge KV. 86 minutes into the match, Lennart Van den Bossche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven Petris. Lords Of Dogtown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Van den Bossche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Lords Of Dogtown's Sven Petris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Lords Of Dogtown from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute Tom Waron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartjan Van de kauter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Ief Provoost managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lords Of Dogtown's supporters rose to their feet, but Ief Provoost was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartjan Van de kauter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Lords Of Dogtown lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
