The supporters of Ruddervoorde booed when Racing Tienen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaud Wollans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthis van Hollebecke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thibaud Camps. Ruddervoorde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Racing Tienen's Joannes Heremans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thibaud Camps made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thibaud Camps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauren Van hoegaerde, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Racing Tienen's Joannes Heremans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After having played for 57 minutes, Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruddervoorde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Racing Tienen's Sven Luijten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thibaud Camps made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Jacques Van Impe hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Karel-Jan Stoorms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaud Camps having to interfere. Thibaud Camps stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joannes Heremans's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Racing Tienen's Joannes Heremans was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dany-Adams Wittemans kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Luk Herpoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Joannes Heremans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Thibaud Camps managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Racing Tienen's Joannes Heremans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Ruddervoorde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Racing Tienen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
