Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martin Scheerens took the kick off in the first half of the match. Martin Scheerens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bartjan Van de kauter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6thth minute of the game Reinaert Artois who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Brugge KV's Bartjan Van de kauter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 7 minutes Club Brugge KV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Scheerens who took care of the corner kick. Jesse Van Landeghem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arno Vercruysse went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Martin Scheerens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartjan Van de kauter was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Lennart Van den Bossche hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, KV Vencimosnt's Bartjan Van de kauter threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martin Scheerens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alex Weggers charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Weggers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Scheerens got free with Bartjan Van de kauter in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Scheerens did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Bartjan Van de kauter 25 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Club Brugge KV got a freekick which was hit by Alex Weggers. 33 minutes into the match, Reinaert Artois dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bartjan Van de kauter, 2-1. Bartjan Van de kauter made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Martin Scheerens sent off a good shot on target. Bartjan Van de kauter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Scheerens in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute Martin Scheerens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartjan Van de kauter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KV Vencimosnt's Jesse Van Landeghem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Van den Bossche in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of KV Vencimosnt booed when Club Brugge KV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Weggers didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, KV Vencimosnt's Martin Scheerens broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Van den Bossche made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Scheerens in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartjan Van de kauter saved Club Brugge KV from getting behind. Bartjan Van de kauter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Scheerens, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Club Brugge KV getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Willem De Keuster hit a great ball. Patrick Huybreghts hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. KV Vencimosnt's Jesse Van Landeghem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save KV Vencimosnt from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Reinaert Artois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Martin Scheerens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartjan Van de kauter was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Bartjan Van de kauter came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by KV Vencimosnt's Renzo Van Eijcke. But to his dismay, Renzo Van Eijcke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. A collision led to Club Brugge KV getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Lennart Van den Bossche hit a great ball. Bartjan Van de kauter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaert Artois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes of play, Club Brugge KV's Lennart Van den Bossche made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesse Van Landeghem was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the KV Vencimosnt players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
