The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Augustijn De Geyter came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Lords Of Dogtown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustijn De Geyter couldn't finish the play. Tom Van Bouschot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walter Jennis in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, 2860 Linksback's Maurice Vinckx got a free kick in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Jennis got free with Tom Van Bouschot in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lords Of Dogtown were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after 2860 Linksback's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augustijn De Geyter took the corner. Joerie Van Langhendoncx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven Petris having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Lords Of Dogtown's Richmond Ingelborchs got a free kick in the 85th minute. 2860 Linksback's Nils Fraes suffered a concussion in the 87th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 88th match minute, Lords Of Dogtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Kockaerts to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Lords Of Dogtown's Sven Petris got control of the ball when Gerard Dauwen tried to sneak it across the goal line.
