The Racing Tienen fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Racing Tienen's Dylan Gooris looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 10th match minute, FCS Pekmere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didier Lefevre to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Arne Emeleers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing Tienen's Billy Meeus got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Racing Tienen got a freekick which was hit by Billy Meeus. After 20 minutes of play, Racing Tienen's Jeoffrey Vercouteren made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurent Schoenmakers was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Qwinten Verstappen fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Tienen's protests and gave Qwinten Verstappen a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Racing Tienen! Pierre De Backer had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Arne Emeleers's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dylan Gooris succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 28th playminute. Laurent Schoenmakers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeoffrey Vercouteren in the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dylan Gooris kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laurent Schoenmakers. That made the score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dylan Gooris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurent Schoenmakers was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. A hard shot 44 in the game by Dylan Gooris from a close distance when the talented Laurent Schoenmakers managed to make a qualified save. FCS Pekmere's players were relieved. Laurent Schoenmakers was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Nicolas Huijghens capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolas Huijghens really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dylan Gooris to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Dylan Gooris put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Laurent Schoenmakers. Laurent Schoenmakers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dylan Gooris's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Nicolas Huijghens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Laurent Schoenmakers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FCS Pekmere's Laurent Schoenmakers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Gooris in the 58th minute of play. If Billy Meeus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurent Schoenmakers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Gooris, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Racing Tienen's Dylan Gooris in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FCS Pekmere's goalie prevented a goal. Jesse Cockx kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play Racing Tienen's Qwinten Verstappen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 67th match minute, Racing Tienen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qwinten Verstappen to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes of play, Racing Tienen's Giles Vischkens made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurent Schoenmakers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giles Vischkens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Huijghens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Laurent Schoenmakers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Verbeeck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre De Backer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Ludo Van den Bergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Laurent Schoenmakers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthy Bal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Racing Tienen's Jacque Van Meenen got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 94 minutes, Giles Vischkens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Tienen and the FCS Pekmere players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Giles Vischkens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Tienen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Racing Tienen fully deserved thier win.
