Loid Voet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Leerbels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Alphonse Dumont made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as As's Tibaut Verheijd slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alphonse Dumont. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. If Loid Voet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alphonse Dumont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibaut Verheijd in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Loid Voet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alphonse Dumont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alphonse Dumont made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casper Leerbels in the 16th minute. If Etienne Montens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yellow City Devils's Jeffrey Putman got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etienne Montens in the 25th minute of play forced As's goalkeeper Cederik Davus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to As getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Soren Van Baerlem hit a great ball. Alphonse Dumont made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casper Leerbels in the 28th minute. After 32 minutes, Jules Cools mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yellow City Devils and the As players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jules Cools hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Casper Leerbels got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alphonse Dumont was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cederik Davus came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Yellow City Devils's Etienne Montens. But to his dismay, Etienne Montens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alphonse Dumont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loid Voet in the 44th minute of play. Soren Van Baerlem charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Soren Van Baerlem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Mateo De Worteleer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yellow City Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo De Worteleer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cederik Davus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Etienne Montens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederik Davus having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Etienne Montens fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, As's Casper Leerbels got a free kick in the 68th minute. Alphonse Dumont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Leerbels in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Casper Leerbels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alphonse Dumont was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Alphonse Dumont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loid Voet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Yellow City Devils's zone, Loid Voet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alphonse Dumont came out of the goal and Loid Voet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yellow City Devils's Alphonse Dumont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Leerbels in the 83rd minute of play. Casper Leerbels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphonse Dumont having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Casper Leerbels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alphonse Dumont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Leerbels in the 95th minute of play forced Yellow City Devils's goalkeeper Alphonse Dumont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Casper Leerbels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. As were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Yellow City Devils for a fine match.
