In the 6th minute, Carel Huysmans fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Florian Swiggers, passed just outside the right post. If Carel Huysmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carel Huysmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Florian Swiggers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Boris Musseeuw's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florian Swiggers was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Dynamo Marx's Tommas Verhaghe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florian Swiggers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 27 minutes, Andrez Van Steen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oteppe and the Dynamo Marx players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrez Van Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Dynamo Marx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesse Van Adorp to maneuver through the defense. The Dynamo Marx fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Dynamo Marx's Glen Imbreghts looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Boris Musseeuw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Oteppe's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Musseeuw came free, but Florian Swiggers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommas Verhaghe struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Florian Swiggers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dynamo Marx. 55 minutes into the match, Dynamo Marx's goal looked a bit too open when Kristen Huybrechts came free, but Thys Geraerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Musseeuw blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florian Swiggers having to make a save. After having played for 61 minutes, Boris Musseeuw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dynamo Marx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Musseeuw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glen Imbreghts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Swiggers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Florian Swiggers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carel Huysmans in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Oteppe's goal looked a bit too open when Tommi Van Caels came free, but Florian Swiggers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthony Laureys's late challenge caught a Dynamo Marx's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthony Laureys helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Oteppe getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Anthony Laureys hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Boris Musseeuw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Florian Swiggers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Dynamo Marx booed when Oteppe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Laureys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dynamo Marx were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Oteppe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carel Huysmans took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Glen Imbreghts got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 6-0. 86 minutes into the match. Florian Swiggers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Musseeuw's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Florian Swiggers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glen Imbreghts went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Boris Musseeuw's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florian Swiggers was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Dynamo Marx were the better team. Dynamo Marx's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
