Alphonse Dumont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Roofhoof, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Yellow City Devils's goalkeeper Alphonse Dumont had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joonatan Van Landewijck. Alphonse Dumont didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The Minion Mim fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Minion Mim's Joonatan Van Landewijck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alphonse Dumont prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Yellow City Devils's Alphonse Dumont got control of the ball when Joonatan Van Landewijck tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match, Joonatan Van Landewijck got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alphonse Dumont was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Jasper Rosario sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Alphonse Dumont threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Jasper Rosario this time. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joonatan Van Landewijck was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alphonse Dumont saved Yellow City Devils from getting behind. 54 minutes into the game, Minion Mim's Peter Roofhoof nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alphonse Dumont made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 56th minute, Joonatan Van Landewijck made a precise shot to the right of Alphonse Dumont. Yellow City Devils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. A very good chance. Arsene Van Houtvin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Rudy Audenaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yellow City Devils's Alphonse Dumont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Minion Mim's Joonatan Van Landewijck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 86th minute Joonatan Van Landewijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alphonse Dumont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Tailleur in the 87th minute of play forced Yellow City Devils's goalkeeper Alphonse Dumont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alphonse Dumont stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Will Wipp's shot from short distance in the 88th minute.
