RSCA U21 were furious when Jeremy Vanbuyten was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jules Van Huytvenne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Tollembeek's Diego Walder in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RSCA U21's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Walder in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Gyselinck saved RSCA U21 from getting behind. After 57 played minutes RSCA U21 got a freekick which was hit by Remi De Bruyn. 58 minutes into the match, Yens Loremans sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because George Gyselinck threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Yens Loremans this time. George Gyselinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaques Raedemaeckers, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A collision led to RSCA U21 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Louis-Philippe Reijnders hit a great ball. Nic Christiaens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but George Gyselinck firmly grabbed it by the left post. 75 minutes into the game, Ruud Poortmans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edgard Diependaele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 80 played minutes RSCA U21 got a freekick which was hit by Joe Vandamme. After a rather tough play, Tollembeek's Diego Walder got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute Jaques Raedemaeckers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Gyselinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alek De Geyter scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Gyselinck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Walder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Gyselinck having to interfere. If Ruud Poortmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Tollembeek's goal looked a bit too open when Jules Van Huytvenne came free, but Edgard Diependaele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bart Bruynincx got free with George Gyselinck in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RSCA U21's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
