But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Van Meerbek couldn't finish the play. Bernd Gielis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Tuytgans in the 10th minute. If Mickael Omblets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Winksele's Jacq Jonckheere got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Constantijn Van Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Tuytgans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bernd Gielis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gino Van Haeght stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mickael Omblets's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Mickael Omblets scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gino Van Haeght, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacq Jonckheere hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Wim Van Meerbek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Van Haeght having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in comeback's zone, Jacq Jonckheere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gino Van Haeght came out of the goal and Jacq Jonckheere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

If Mickael Omblets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Van Haeght showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Van Meerbek in the 55th minute of the match. Sylvan Owerckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathieu-Maxim Vissenaeken kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Winksele's Serge Roosendael couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for comeback. Mickael Omblets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Van Haeght having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Wim Van Meerbek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winksele's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Van Meerbek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gino Van Haeght breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. comeback's Gino Van Haeght proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save comeback from getting a goal against them. Winksele's Bernd Gielis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Tuytgans in the 83rd minute of play. Wim Van Meerbek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Van Haeght having to interfere. Gino Van Haeght showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Van Meerbek, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Wim Van Meerbek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Van Haeght having to interfere.
