Knokke-Heist's Alonzo Nalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Knokke-Heist from getting a goal against them. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorre Van de Wal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Racing Leuven's Ferdinand Raedemaeckers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Dhondt in the 34th minute of play. Lieven Bossuyt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Alonzo Nalo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th minute Jens Van Der Linden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Raedemaeckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Knokke-Heist's Thomas Dhondt made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorre Van de Wal scored 0-5 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Raedemaeckers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Racing Leuven players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Knokke-Heist were winning 0-5.

After 92 minutes of play, Knokke-Heist's Jens Van Der Linden made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
