Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. A collision led to comeback getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Wouter Van Meerbek hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, comeback's Mathieu-Maxim Vissenaeken got a free kick in the 13th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Ruud Poortmans took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gino Van Haeght to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th match minute, comeback was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martijn Smet to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match Philip Van Achter climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Gino Van Haeght. Mathieu-Maxim Vissenaeken kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Louis-Philippe Reijnders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvan Owerckx in the 39th minute of play forced RSCA U21's goalkeeper George Gyselinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, RSCA U21's Ruud Poortmans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gino Van Haeght. Gino Van Haeght yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. If Philip Van Achter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Ruud Poortmans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gino Van Haeght. comeback's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruud Poortmans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sylvan Owerckx to make the kick off. The supporters of comeback booed when RSCA U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remi De Bruyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, comeback's Mathieu-Maxim Vissenaeken got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the game, RSCA U21's Ruud Poortmans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gino Van Haeght made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvan Owerckx in the 69th minute of play forced RSCA U21's goalkeeper George Gyselinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylvan Owerckx's late challenge caught a RSCA U21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylvan Owerckx helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Sylvan Owerckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RSCA U21's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sylvan Owerckx 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-1. When Remi De Bruyn fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RSCA U21's protests and gave Remi De Bruyn a yellow card for diving instead. Remi De Bruyn kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Evert Meeuwissen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. George Gyselinck was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mathieu-Maxim Vissenaeken. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RSCA U21 had played much better football throughout.
