Matt Tael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Bruyninckx having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Knokke-Heist's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Haemers came free, but Alonzo Nalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Louis Haemers came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Peperhol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis Haemers couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Peperhol getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Diedrik Arnoets hit a great ball. Maxim-Alexander De Roover charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maxim-Alexander De Roover the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Peperhol got a freekick which was hit by Maxim-Alexander De Roover. When Knokke-Heist's Jorre Van de Wal in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peperhol's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Roockeloos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Jorre Van de Wal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorre Van de Wal made a kick off. Carlos Roockeloos's late challenge caught a Knokke-Heist's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Roockeloos helped the player get up and apologised. Louis Haemers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Alonzo Nalo made a huge save. Peperhol's Maxim-Alexander De Roover was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alonzo Nalo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tobias Bruyninckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorre Van de Wal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Haemers got free with Alonzo Nalo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 played minutes Knokke-Heist got a freekick which was hit by Dan Lanphan. The crowd rose to their feet as Louis Haemers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alonzo Nalo. That made the score 0-1 in the 65 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Peperhol's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Tael came free, but Tobias Bruyninckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorre Van de Wal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Bruyninckx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Matt Tael notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Peperhol's Tobias Bruyninckx. Tobias Bruyninckx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Louis Haemers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Alonzo Nalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Teun Michiels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peperhol's Tobias Bruyninckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Lenaerts in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Knokke-Heist's Matt Tael made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Bruyninckx was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Andreas Van Balen in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Knokke-Heist's Dan Lanphan. Knokke-Heist's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
