Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wim Van Meerbek made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Kasper Jongbloedt made a precise shot to the right of Bernd Gielis. Winksele's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 5 minutes, Ivan Roulin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winksele and the FC Hannutd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Winksele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Roulin to maneuver through the defense. Kasper Jongbloedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthis Thielemans in the 8th minute of play forced Winksele's goalkeeper Bernd Gielis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 20 in the game by Mickael Omblets from a close distance when the talented Evert-Jan Vaes managed to make a qualified save. FC Hannutd's players were relieved. Wim Van Meerbek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Evert-Jan Vaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mickael Omblets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert-Jan Vaes having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Bertrand Van Hole mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Hannutd and the Winksele players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes FC Hannutd got a freekick which was hit by Bertrand Van Hole. After having played for 32 minutes, Matthis Thielemans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hannutd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthis Thielemans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Kasper Jongbloedt notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Winksele's Bernd Gielis. Bernd Gielis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kasper Jongbloedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Gielis having to interfere. Mickael Ombletss short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Evert-Jan Vaes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Hannutd's Evert-Jan Vaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hannutd from getting a goal against them. If Matthis Thielemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matthis Thielemans to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Winksele's Mickael Omblets made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evert-Jan Vaes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Matthis Thielemans came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Hannutd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthis Thielemans couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute Mickael Omblets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert-Jan Vaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Hannutd getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Kasper Jongbloedt hit a great ball. Wim Van Meerbek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Evert-Jan Vaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertrand Van Hole hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Winksele's zone, Matthis Thielemans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernd Gielis came out of the goal and Matthis Thielemans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Wim Van Meerbek in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Mickael Omblets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert-Jan Vaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Van Meerbek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Hannutd's Evert-Jan Vaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Van Meerbek in the 81st minute of play. Mickael Omblets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert-Jan Vaes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mickael Omblets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winksele's supporters rose to their feet, but Mickael Omblets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert-Jan Vaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Hannutd's Evert-Jan Vaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Van Meerbek in the 88th minute of play. Bernd Gielis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthis Thielemans in the 90th minute of play. Bernd Gielis made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kasper Jongbloedt sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Wim Van Meerbek sped through FC Hannutd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evert-Jan Vaes. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Hannutd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
