After a defensive mix-up in comeback's zone, Louis Haemers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gino Van Haeght came out of the goal and Louis Haemers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diedrik Arnoets struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Gino Van Haeght didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peperhol. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Haemers to strike the kick off in the second half. Gino Van Haeght took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Haemers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Peperhol booed when comeback was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martijn Smet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Roockeloos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Peperhol's Tobias Bruyninckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvan Owerckx in the 97th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
