Alpina FC's Hermenegildo Castilho got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Dirk Damman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 played minutes, Alpina FC's Ief Cromefeldt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alonzo Nalo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alpina FC reached it. 15 minutes into the match, Alexander Van Hautvinck notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Knokke-Heist's Alonzo Nalo. Alonzo Nalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 24 minutes, Alexander Van Hautvinck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Van Hautvinck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alpina FC's Hermenegildo Castilho got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alonzo Nalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermenegildo Castilho in the 35th minute of play. During the 39th minute of the match Sven Lenaerts completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sven Lenaerts a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 40 played minutes Knokke-Heist got a freekick which was hit by Sven Lenaerts. Hermenegildo Castilho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Dhondt kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Alonzo Nalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermenegildo Castilho went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score.

Dirk Damman took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonzo Nalo. Alonzo Nalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Alonzo Nalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermenegildo Castilho's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Dirk Damman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alpina FC made a substitution. Alfons Van Mellaert replaced Dirk Damman. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Hermenegildo Castilho took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Alonzo Nalo to make any attempt to save it. After 85 played minutes Alpina FC got a freekick which was hit by Ief Cromefeldt. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-11 when Alfons Van Mellaert sped through Knokke-Heist's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alonzo Nalo. The crowd rose to their feet as Alpina FC's Hermenegildo Castilho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alonzo Nalo. That made the score 0-12 after 93 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfons Van Mellaert got free with Alonzo Nalo in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alpina FC played a much better game than Knokke-Heist and deserved their victory. The Knokke-Heist players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
