If Matthis Thielemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Mathieu-Maxim Vissenaeken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the comeback and the FC Hannutd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Hannutd booed when comeback was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu-Maxim Vissenaeken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert-Jan Vaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Tuytgans, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Evert-Jan Vaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Tuytgans in the 21st minute of the match. Kasper Jongbloedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Matthis Thielemans notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of comeback's Gino Van Haeght. Gino Van Haeght was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Dhollander charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice moves Kasper Jongbloedt could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Gino Van Haeght however easily saved by the left post. In the 51st minute, Lauren Bourgeois sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and comeback's Gino Van Haeght didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Kasper Jongbloedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Van Haeght having to interfere. Gino Van Haeght showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthis Thielemans in the 61st minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, comeback was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martijn Smet to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, comeback's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Jongbloedt came free, but Gino Van Haeght reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Hannutd booed when comeback was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martijn Smet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th match minute, FC Hannutd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertrand Van Hole to maneuver through the defense. Evert-Jan Vaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvan Owerckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Hannutd had played much better football throughout.
