Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. George Vereect started the match with the kick off. Harrie Smidts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthis Thielemans's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Bruno Konings struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Harrie Smidts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hannutd. 15 minutes into the match, Kasper Jongbloedt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Zandvoorde's Harrie Smidts. Harrie Smidts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Matthis Thielemans made a precise shot to the right of Harrie Smidts. Zandvoorde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Matthis Thielemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herbert De Vreese hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Kasper Jongbloedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harrie Smidts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kasper Jongbloedt ran back to his position shaking his head. Harrie Smidts didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Hannutd's Kasper Jongbloedt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Lauren Bourgeois made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Matthis Thielemans immediately put the ball in play. Zandvoorde's Harrie Smidts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertrand Van Hole in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Matthis Thielemans made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthis Thielemans in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harrie Smidts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matthis Thielemans had several of the Zandvoorde's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Harrie Smidts as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Matthis Thielemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harrie Smidts stood somewhat misplaced when Kasper Jongbloedt came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Harrie Smidts was a little too slow when Matthis Thielemans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-7. Greg Vinckx made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zandvoorde's Philippe Francx. In the 76th minute, Matthis Thielemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Vereect fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert-Jan Vaes having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Zandvoorde got a freekick which was hit by Herbert De Vreese. Harrie Smidts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthis Thielemans in the 84th minute of play. Guillaume Streels kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Hannutd getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bruno Konings hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Matthis Thielemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded FC Hannutd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zandvoorde.
