Spectators: 8076 (Terracing: 6059, Seating: 1857, VIP seats: 160) After having played for 4 minutes, Benny Theijs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Flat Beat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benny Theijs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toon De Middeleer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartjan Slegers in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, FC Flat Beat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Heirremans to maneuver through the defense. Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Toon De Middeleer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Flat Beat's Matijs Cremers got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartjan Slegers's late challenge caught a FC Flat Beat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartjan Slegers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ZVC Wellen's Bartjan Slegers got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Matijs Cremers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but William Hostens skillfully saved the ball. Johny Van Eersel's late challenge caught a FC Flat Beat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johny Van Eersel helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ZVC Wellen! When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, FC Flat Beat's Matijs Cremers got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of William Hostens. 36 minutes into the match, FC Flat Beat's goal looked a bit too open when Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek came free, but Toon De Middeleer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Flat Beat getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Matijs Cremers hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Matijs Cremers managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Flat Beat's supporters rose to their feet, but Matijs Cremers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Hostens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William Hostens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Theijs in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, FC Flat Beat's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Huybrechts came free, but Toon De Middeleer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Flat Beat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek was slow to take the kick. During this time ZVC Wellen's players had a chance to rest. Toon De Middeleer made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Aaron De Maerschalck sent off a good shot on target. Toon De Middeleer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Huybrechts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Flat Beat booed when ZVC Wellen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel de Nijs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benny Theijs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Hostens having to interfere. During the 76th minute of the match Bartjan Slegers completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bartjan Slegers a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bartjan Slegers kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toon De Middeleer saved FC Flat Beat from getting behind.
