The GoeBezig Vilvoorde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quentin De Keyser should have stopped the shot. Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes, Ken Van Hautvinck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZVC Wellen and the GoeBezig Vilvoorde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ken Van Hautvinck kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. GoeBezig Vilvoorde's Quentin De Keyser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Huybrechts in the 28th minute of play. Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin De Keyser having to interfere. The supporters of ZVC Wellen booed when GoeBezig Vilvoorde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Humblets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Sergio Vissenaeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Hostens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ZVC Wellen booed when GoeBezig Vilvoorde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Humblets didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZVC Wellen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to GoeBezig Vilvoorde getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Florian Humblets hit a great ball. If Alan Huybrechts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quentin De Keyser. Quentin De Keyser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ZVC Wellen's William Hostens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertrand Eekhout in the 54th minute of play. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek sped through GoeBezig Vilvoorde's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Quentin De Keyser. With a little luck, ZVC Wellen's William Hostens got control of the ball when Greg De Wulf tried to sneak it across the goal line. William Hostens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florian Humblets in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Abel de Nijs hit a great ball. William Hostens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Vissenaeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of GoeBezig Vilvoorde booed when ZVC Wellen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocky Verdonk didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZVC Wellen's William Hostens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save ZVC Wellen from getting a goal against them. Quentin De Keyser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartjan Slegers in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, ZVC Wellen's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Vissenaeken came free, but William Hostens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Huybrechts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin De Keyser having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GoeBezig Vilvoorde's Bob De Mijer got a free kick in the 88th minute. Nick Wijnrijx charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nick Wijnrijx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nick Wijnrijx kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, GoeBezig Vilvoorde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Humblets to maneuver through the defense.
