Peter Kipsos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. ZVC Wellen's William Hostens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Paul Kempenaerts in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Red Dwarfs Den FC's Tibaut Imbrechts made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Hostens was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, ZVC Wellen's goal looked a bit too open when Jos Uyttebroeck came free, but William Hostens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiel Schuts kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Peter Kipsos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek in the 30th minute of the match. William Hostens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibaut Imbrechts in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 played minutes ZVC Wellen got a freekick which was hit by Will Carels. Jos Uyttebroeck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for William Hostens. ZVC Wellen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 37th minute Jos Uyttebroeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Hostens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Red Dwarfs Den FC's zone, Aaron De Maerschalck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Kipsos came out of the goal and Aaron De Maerschalck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Aaron De Maerschalck could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Peter Kipsos however easily saved by the left post. In the 41st minute, Emiel Schuts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Alan Huybrechts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Kipsos. Alan Huybrechts showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. A collision led to Red Dwarfs Den FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Giovanny Westelinx hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tibaut Imbrechts to strike the kick off in the second half. If Aaron De Maerschalck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, ZVC Wellen's goal looked a bit too open when Tibaut Imbrechts came free, but William Hostens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Hostens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jos Uyttebroeck in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Bartjan Slegers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Hostens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabien Andries in the 71st minute of the match. The ZVC Wellen fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when ZVC Wellen's Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. William Hostens made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jos Uyttebroeck sent off a good shot on target. When Bartjan Slegers fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZVC Wellen's protests and gave Bartjan Slegers a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Huybrechts during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Alan Huybrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th match minute, ZVC Wellen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocky Verdonk to maneuver through the defense. Jos Uyttebroeck struck a weak shot in the 81st minute.
