Bradly Bain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Thijs Samyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timur Polyanskiy struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Guillaume Schepens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC wilsele. 22 minutes into the match, FC wilsele's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu-Maxim Van Goethem came free, but Bradly Bain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Klaus Bossuyt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute of the match, Cazimir Frântu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guillaume Schepens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Timur Polyanskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Isidoor Laureijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC wilsele getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Stein Reijdams hit a great ball. After the first half Rapid Mollem were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mathieu-Maxim Van Goethem made the kick off in the second half. Isidoor Laureijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Guillaume Schepens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillaume Schepens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timur Polyanskiy in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Isidoor Laureijs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapid Mollem's Guillaume Schepens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rapid Mollem's Patrik De Martelaere got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When FC wilsele's Isidoor Laureijs in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rapid Mollem's goalie prevented a goal. Klaus Bossuyt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bradly Bain made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid Mollem's zone, Isidoor Laureijs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillaume Schepens came out of the goal and Isidoor Laureijs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Yelle Van den Brul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-2 became the score in the 91st minute when Isidoor Laureijs elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rapid Mollem played a much better game than FC wilsele and deserved their victory. The FC wilsele players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
