Natan Huyberechts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthy Degraef's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. schoten's Jorne Sulem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenney Sanders in the 21st minute of play. Vic Stas, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 26th minute, Joop Eggers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. schoten's Jorne Sulem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenney Sanders in the 27th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of schoten:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ZVK Met Alle Chinezen:s goal. Vic Stas placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Richy Van Bettenrode received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. In the 47th match minute, schoten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthy Degraef to maneuver through the defense. 50 minutes into the game, ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Dre Iansens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorne Sulem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dre Iansens to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the schoten defense, Kenney Sanders kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorne Sulem. The schoten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorne Sulem should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's Dre Iansens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorne Sulem. That made the score 1-7 after 61 minutes of play. Jorne Sulem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dre Iansens in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, schoten's goal looked a bit too open when Dre Iansens came free, but Jorne Sulem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dre Iansens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorne Sulem having to interfere. Kenney Sanders could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jorne Sulem made a huge save. Jorne Sulem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dre Iansens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Tombeurs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jorne Sulem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Dre Iansens made it 1-9 with a short kick to the right side. schoten's Jorne Sulem tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute of the match, Dre Iansens tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorne Sulem saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jorne Sulem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Ingelborchs in the 86th minute. If Joop Eggers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of schoten booed when ZVK Met Alle Chinezen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Werner Bauwmans didn't get a good kick on the ball.
