Spectators: 8003 (Terracing: 6004, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christiaan Gielens started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, KSV Ursene's goal looked a bit too open when Kent De Marrez came free, but Roderik Dewitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes KSV Ursene got a freekick which was hit by Yvan Vereyt. In the 7th minute of the match Claus Pauwels shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roderik Dewitte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Steffen Verhaeghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter-Jan De Koq, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Steffen Verhaeghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiaan Gielens in the 10th minute of the match. Jacob Van De Velden's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roderik Dewitte firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 13 minutes, Christiaan Gielens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Ursene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christiaan Gielens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Peter-Jan De Koq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Emanuel Van den Bossche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steffen Verhaeghen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Emanuel Van den Bossche notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FuglyMugs's Steffen Verhaeghen. Emanuel Van den Bossche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steffen Verhaeghen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The KSV Ursene fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiaan Gielens in the 41st minute of play forced FuglyMugs's goalkeeper Steffen Verhaeghen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes of play, FuglyMugs's Jacob Van De Velden made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roderik Dewitte was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half KSV Ursene were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kent De Marrez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christiaan Gielens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Steffen Verhaeghen made a huge save. Brent-Jan Van der Roost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Verhaeghen having to interfere. FuglyMugs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Christiaan Gielens scored to the left of an out of position Steffen Verhaeghen, making the score, 1-5. Steffen Verhaeghen was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Emanuel Van den Bossche capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Van den Bossche really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. After a rather tough play, KSV Ursene's Tomm Berckmans got a free kick in the 61st minute. Steffen Verhaeghen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter-Jan De Koq in the 66th minute. FuglyMugs's Steffen Verhaeghen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomm Berckmans in the 67th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Christiaan Gielens took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Steffen Verhaeghen to make any attempt to save it. In the 71st minute, Peter-Jan De Koq made a precise shot to the right of Steffen Verhaeghen. FuglyMugs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. FuglyMugs's Steffen Verhaeghen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FuglyMugs from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Van den Bossche's late challenge caught a FuglyMugs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Van den Bossche helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KSV Ursene getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Emanuel Van den Bossche hit a great ball. Roderik Dewitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Van De Velden in the 81st minute of the match. Peter-Jan De Koq could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Steffen Verhaeghen made a huge save. If Kent De Marrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FuglyMugs's zone, Tomm Berckmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Verhaeghen came out of the goal and Tomm Berckmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, FuglyMugs's goalkeeper Steffen Verhaeghen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiaan Gielens. Kent De Marrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, KSV Ursene's Steffen Verhaeghen threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomm Berckmans, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
