Spectators: 6839 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christiaan Gielens started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Darisdonk's Paul Huijsmans got a free kick in the 4th minute. The supporters of KSV Ursene booed when Darisdonk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Huijsmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Peter-Jan De Koq notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Darisdonk's Kurt Van Brussel. Kurt Van Brussel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Darisdonk's Joe Ingelborgh got a free kick in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Christiaan Gielens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Van Brussel was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 31 minutes of play, KSV Ursene's Tomm Berckmans made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Van Brussel was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Peter-Jan De Koq had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Christiaan Gielens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Van Brussel was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Darisdonk's Kurt Van Brussel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Van den Bossche in the 42nd minute of play. If Tomm Berckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Goegebeur was the one to do the kick off. After 58th play minutes Christiaan Gielens shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Kurt Van Brussel and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 62nd play minute Christiaan Gielens came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kurt Van Brussel. 0-6. Tomm Berckmans struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Kurt Van Brussel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSV Ursene. After a rather tough play, Darisdonk's Paul Huijsmans got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Christiaan Gielens came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the KSV Ursene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiaan Gielens couldn't finish the play. After 73 minutes, Christiaan Gielens made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Darisdonk's Kurt Van Brussel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 played minutes KSV Ursene got a freekick which was hit by Christiaan Gielens. Kurt Van Brussel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomm Berckmans went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. When Brent-Jan Van der Roost came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the KSV Ursene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brent-Jan Van der Roost couldn't finish the play. Paul Huijsmans hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The supporters of Darisdonk booed when KSV Ursene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brent-Jan Van der Roost didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christiaan Gielens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Van Brussel having to interfere. KSV Ursene played a much better game than Darisdonk and deserved their victory. The Darisdonk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
