Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guilian Goemyne started the match with the kick off. Kurt Van Brussel made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Rene Turpin sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sammy Vogels sped through Darisdonk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kurt Van Brussel. After a rather tough play, De Brugse Klokke FC's Bonifacio Pio got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sammy Vogels got free with Kurt Van Brussel in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th match minute, Darisdonk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Van Cleijnenbreugel to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Rene Turpin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kurt Van Brussel. Rene Turpin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 16 minutes into the game, Steffe Rockeloos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Kurt Van Brussel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sammy Vogels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Kurt Van Brussel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartjan Neys kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Darisdonk getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Joey De Wulf hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Sammy Vogels sped through Darisdonk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kurt Van Brussel. Rene Turpin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Turpin to strike the kick off in the second half. Rene Turpin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Rene Turpin put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kurt Van Brussel. If Sammy Vogels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Sammy Vogels sped through Darisdonk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kurt Van Brussel. Kurt Van Brussel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Van haeck in the 68th minute of the match. Berten Vervaeck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kurt Van Brussel having to make a save. If Sammy Vogels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Rene Turpin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Brugse Klokke FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. If Rene Turpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Van Brussel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Vogels, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Rene Turpin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Van Brussel was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. If Rene Turpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Rene Turpin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Brugse Klokke FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Turpin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Darisdonk booed when De Brugse Klokke FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Milani didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. De Brugse Klokke FC had played much better football throughout.
