The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joannes Iwenss short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Steffen Verhaeghen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Joeri Mons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent De Marrez in the 8th minute of play. Joannes Iwens's late challenge caught a FuglyMugs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joannes Iwens helped the player get up and apologised. Joannes Iwens kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Claus Pauwels shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joeri Mons showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th match minute, Lecleir Sniffing Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joannes Iwens to maneuver through the defense. Alfons De Ryck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Steffen Verhaeghen came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfons De Ryck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Jacob Van De Velden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joeri Mons having to interfere. Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Joeri Mons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent De Marrez in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Kasper Van Deinze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Steffen Verhaeghen. Kasper Van Deinze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 43 minutes into the match, FuglyMugs's goalkeeper Steffen Verhaeghen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kasper Van Deinze. 45 minutes into the game, Giles Van De Broeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lecleir Sniffing Squad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FuglyMugs the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Giles Van De Broeck got a free kick in the 45th minute. A collision led to Lecleir Sniffing Squad getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Brend Haemers hit a great ball. Claus Pauwels blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joeri Mons having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfons De Ryck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Kent De Marrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FuglyMugs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent De Marrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joeri Mons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Van De Velden in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasper Van Deinze in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steffen Verhaeghen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Alfons De Ryck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steffen Verhaeghen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The throw-in from Leopold Rombouts in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Brend Haemers. FuglyMugs's Steffen Verhaeghen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons De Ryck in the 71st minute of play. Steffen Verhaeghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons De Ryck, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Jacob Van De Velden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Oscar De Boel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steffen Verhaeghen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Alfons De Ryck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FuglyMugs's Steffen Verhaeghen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, FuglyMugs's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons De Ryck came free, but Steffen Verhaeghen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, FuglyMugs's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Doku came free, but Steffen Verhaeghen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Van Deinze in the 89th minute of play forced FuglyMugs's goalkeeper Steffen Verhaeghen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Alfons De Ryck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Steffen Verhaeghen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 93 played minutes Lecleir Sniffing Squad got a freekick which was hit by Alfons De Ryck. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent De Marrez in the 96th minute of play forced Lecleir Sniffing Squad's goalkeeper Joeri Mons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Brend Haemers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lecleir Sniffing Squad had played much better football throughout.
