The FuglyMugs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steffen Verhaeghen should have stopped the shot. Reinard Denijs charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinard Denijs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reinard Denijs hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The supporters of FuglyMugs booed when Boca Delvaux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quillian van Eijnde didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Boca Delvaux's protests and gave Thobias Debock a yellow card for diving instead. Jules Bauweleers struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Steffen Verhaeghen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Delvaux. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jules Bauweleers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
