Evert Visch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gust Swiggers, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Evert Visch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gust Swiggers went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 14th play minutes Tuure Jamieson shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Evert Visch and just under the crossbar into goal. After 18 played minutes Xhoris got a freekick which was hit by Senne Vrijdags. If Tuure Jamieson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the game, Xhoris's Gust Swiggers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evert Visch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gust Swiggers in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evert Visch saved Groove Athletic from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Groove Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Gust Swiggers came free, but Evert Visch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Xhoris were awarded a corner. Gust Swiggers went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Groove Athletic's goalkeeper Evert Visch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Gust Swiggers sped through Groove Athletic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evert Visch. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gust Swiggers to make the kick off. If Samuel Roosendael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gust Swiggers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Evert Visch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Evert Visch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tuure Jamieson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Tuure Jamieson sped through Groove Athletic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evert Visch. Gust Swiggers who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Evert Visch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 62nd minute Tuure Jamieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Visch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Groove Athletic getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Benoit Tuytgans hit a great ball. Xhoris's Gust Swiggers got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xhoris's Gwenn Van Riel was substituted for William Wipp. In the 69th match minute, Groove Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benoit Tuytgans to maneuver through the defense. Gust Swiggerss short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Evert Visch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gust Swiggers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Visch having to interfere. Xhoris's Gust Swiggers got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the game, Gust Swiggers lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Evert Visch. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Groove Athletic booed when Xhoris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Senne Vrijdags didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gust Swiggers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Visch having to interfere. When the match was over Xhoris could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Groove Athletic throughout the match.
