Despite this Amadeu Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Les Misèrables's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Van den Bossche was slow to take the kick. During this time KSV Ursene's players had a chance to rest. Emanuel Van den Bossche made a great header on KSV Ursene's corner, it was just that Les Misèrables's Amadeu Vaz managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, KSV Ursene's Peter-Jan De Koq got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 21 minutes, Birger Godet mouthed his way into the referee's book. Robbie Raes went to the cornerflag to take it. Roderik Dewitte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovanny Stroobans's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, KSV Ursene's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanny Stroobans came free, but Roderik Dewitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match, Jesse Reijckmans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amadeu Vaz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 46th minute Tomm Berckmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KSV Ursene were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Les Misèrables's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Van den Bossche took the corner. KSV Ursene's Emanuel Van den Bossche was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amadeu Vaz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesse Reijckmans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Van den Bossche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Amadeu Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Van den Bossche in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Les Misèrables's Birger Godet got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, KSV Ursene's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanny Stroobans came free, but Roderik Dewitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Les Misèrables fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Les Misèrables's Joel Buelens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute of the match KSV Ursene got a corner. Les Misèrables's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Van den Bossche ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Emanuel Van den Bossche almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Les Misèrables's Amadeu Vaz did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanny Stroobans in the 75th minute of play forced KSV Ursene's goalkeeper Roderik Dewitte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Les Misèrables booed when KSV Ursene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter-Jan De Koq didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Les Misèrables was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Godet to maneuver through the defense. Roderik Dewitte made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Joel Buelens sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Van den Bossche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Vaz having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Yvan Vereyt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KSV Ursene and the Les Misèrables players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes KSV Ursene got a freekick which was hit by Yvan Vereyt. With a little luck, KSV Ursene's Roderik Dewitte got control of the ball when Joel Buelens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chants of Les Misèrables echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as KSV Ursene had held the ball for most of the match.
