After 84 played minutes, Darisdonk's Charles-Louis Dewolf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ief Vermeulen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Darisdonk reached it. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Joaquin Geli took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Kurt Van Brussel to make any attempt to save it. 92 minutes into the match, Darisdonk's goalkeeper Kurt Van Brussel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Geli. Anton Diericx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Kurt Van Brussel made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded De Brugse Klokke FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Darisdonk.
