Raf Iansens started the match with the kick off. Evert Verhaert kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Daevy Caers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qwinten Blomme, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Laurent Hosselaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th match minute, FC Erplé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Diependaele to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Bart-Jan Maenhout in the 15th minute really tested Claus Huijberechts's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 16th minute, Dean Diependaele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daevy Caers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qwinten Blomme in the 20th minute of the match. Dany-Adams Gooris was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, one of FC Erplé:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Claus Huijberechts, was totally fooled by Forza Omar Los Diabolos's Evert Verhaert, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dean Diependaele kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Raf Iansens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claus Huijberechts was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Tibaut Du Bois fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 45th minute, Forza Omar Los Diabolos's Arnold Wuets ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claus Huijberechts. Claus Huijberechts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dean Diependaele was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Jules Tombuer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match Willem-Alexander Bernaerts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daevy Caers skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Wuets in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Erplé's goalkeeper Claus Huijberechts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, FC Erplé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoud Huvenaerts to maneuver through the defense. FC Erplé's Claus Huijberechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raf Iansens in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Forza Omar Los Diabolos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Tombuer to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Evert Verhaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forza Omar Los Diabolos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Verhaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willem-Alexander Bernaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Forza Omar Los Diabolos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cederic Terreur fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Claus Huijberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raf Iansens in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Forza Omar Los Diabolos had won after a very even match.
