With a little luck, KFC Graux's Herald Baeten got control of the ball when Raf Iansens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daevy Caers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger De Ceijser, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KFC Graux! After a rather tough play, KFC Graux's Ruben Deroek got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Graux's zone, Gerard Ryers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herald Baeten came out of the goal and Gerard Ryers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Raf Iansens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Forza Omar Los Diabolos's Daevy Caers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emile Kerstens in the 27th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Emile Kerstens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daevy Caers. Forza Omar Los Diabolos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emile Kerstens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Daevy Caers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger De Ceijser in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of KFC Graux booed when Forza Omar Los Diabolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rein Verhaegen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Raf Iansens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KFC Graux's Paul-Louis Wijngaerts managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rein Verhaegen in the 43 minute of the game. Emile Kerstens kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes, Forza Omar Los Diabolos's Francis van Hagenborgh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herald Baeten came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Forza Omar Los Diabolos reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Emile Kerstens made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Emile Kerstens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Graux fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. KFC Graux's Herald Baeten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raf Iansens in the 57th minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, Forza Omar Los Diabolos's Raf Iansens made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herald Baeten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daevy Caers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emile Kerstens went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to KFC Graux getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ruben Deroek hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match Gerard Ryers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herald Baeten showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Paul-Louis Wijngaerts in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Forza Omar Los Diabolos's Francis van Hagenborgh. Emile Kerstens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Daevy Caers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thobias Degryse hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Tibaut Du Bois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Herald Baeten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Raf Iansens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herald Baeten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Wuets in the 93rd minute of play forced KFC Graux's goalkeeper Herald Baeten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daevy Caers made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Emile Kerstens sent off a good shot on target.
