Kristof Van Liers short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Pierre-Paul De nuijter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ray Vandewalle hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Ray Vandewalle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, SK Heikruis's goal looked a bit too open when Robbin De Meur came free, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, SC Rooigem's Alexander Cuppens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pierre-Paul De nuijter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. SC Rooigem's Kevin Coenen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik-Jan Vereyt in the 66th minute of play. Ray Vandewalle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Kevin Coenen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pierre-Paul De nuijter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Cuppens in the 71st minute of the match. After 72 played minutes SK Heikruis got a freekick which was hit by Walter Wortelaert. After a defensive mix-up in SK Heikruis's zone, Kristof Van Lier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre-Paul De nuijter came out of the goal and Kristof Van Lier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, SK Heikruis's goal looked a bit too open when Kristof Van Lier came free, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Hendrik-Jan Vereyt put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kevin Coenen. If Ray Vandewalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Renzo Deswarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Heikruis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Rooigem the free kick. SK Heikruis:s Pierre-Paul De nuijter showed great skill when he stopped Daan Andriesens:s penalty. Pierre-Paul De nuijter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbin De Meur in the 94th minute of play. SC Rooigem were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
