Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hendrik-Jan Vereyt took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Bob Le Page shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Le Page scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierre-Paul De nuijter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pierre-Paul De nuijter came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by V.D.B. Foundation's Bob Le Page. But to his dismay, Bob Le Page quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Pierre-Paul De nuijter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Le Page in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, SK Heikruis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray Vandewalle to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, V.D.B. Foundation's goalkeeper Ivan Cox had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ray Vandewalle. In the 24th minute, SK Heikruis's Hendrik-Jan Vereyt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Hendrik-Jan Vereyt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes V.D.B. Foundation got a freekick which was hit by Geordy Verelst. In the 40th minute, Gust Neefs sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and V.D.B. Foundation's Ivan Cox didn't even have to move. Hendrik-Jan Vereyt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cox having to interfere. After 46 played minutes V.D.B. Foundation got a freekick which was hit by Tibaut Elssen. Greg Van Eersel kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gery Van der Vorst to make the kick off. Pierre-Paul De nuijter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibaut Elssen in the 55th minute of play. Pierre-Paul De nuijter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bob Le Page went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After 61 played minutes V.D.B. Foundation got a freekick which was hit by Tibaut Elssen. Bob Le Page could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibaut Elssen during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SK Heikruis booed when V.D.B. Foundation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibaut Elssen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Cox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hendrik-Jan Vereyt, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Tibaut Elssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik-Jan Vereyt in the 84th minute of play forced V.D.B. Foundation's goalkeeper Ivan Cox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
