Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) V.D.B. Foundation's Gery Van der Vorst started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Le Page in the 3rd minute of play forced KFC Raffelberg's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Le Page in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Peruzzi saved KFC Raffelberg from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in V.D.B. Foundation's zone, Jerry Stessel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Cox came out of the goal and Jerry Stessel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jerry Stessel fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Raffelberg's protests and gave Jerry Stessel a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes KFC Raffelberg got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Stessel. 14 minutes into the match, KFC Raffelberg's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Le Page came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Lucas Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Cox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Bob Le Page managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. V.D.B. Foundation's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Le Page was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tibaut Elssen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Peruzzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stef De Weyngaert during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stef De Weyngaert hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Gery Van der Vorst might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Peruzzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gery Van der Vorst ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute, Jerry Stessel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Cox. The goal made the score 1-0. Ivan Cox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Stessel, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Greg Van Eersel fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored V.D.B. Foundation's protests and gave Greg Van Eersel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Greg Van Eersel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Stef De Weyngaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of KFC Raffelberg booed when V.D.B. Foundation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greg Van Eersel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerry Stessel to strike the kick off in the second half. V.D.B. Foundation's Ivan Cox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Bernaers in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, KFC Raffelberg's Jerry Stessel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Cox made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gery Van der Vorst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Angelo Peruzzi made a huge save. In the 67th match minute, KFC Raffelberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurend Wouters to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gery Van der Vorst during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gery Van der Vorst kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, V.D.B. Foundation's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Stessel came free, but Ivan Cox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tristan Mangelschot hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Gery Van der Vorst struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Angelo Peruzzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for V.D.B. Foundation. 83 minutes into the match, Jerry Stessel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Cox. V.D.B. Foundation's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerry Stessel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 87th minute, Albert Bernaers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Cox was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 90 minutes into the game, Bob Le Page was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. V.D.B. Foundation's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Raffelberg the free kick. In the 92nd minute of the match Laurend Wouters sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Cox skillfully saved the ball. Many of V.D.B. Foundation's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. V.D.B. Foundation may have spent more time on the ball, but KFC Raffelberg were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
