Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Josef Sellekaers started the match with the kick off. Wayne De Wilde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Holemans in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KFC Oosthoven's Billie Bellinkx got a free kick in the 11th minute. Wayne De Wilde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Holemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baran Taykut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecaussinnes's Björn Kellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ecaussinnes from getting a goal against them. After the first half Ecaussinnes were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baran Taykut was the one to do the kick off. Billie Bellinkx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baran Taykut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wayne De Wilde having to interfere. In the 60th minute Josef Sellekaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Kellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Ecaussinnes's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Sellekaers came free, but Björn Kellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wayne De Wilde made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Baran Taykut sent off a good shot on target. When Gill Franckx fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Oosthoven's protests and gave Gill Franckx a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, KFC Oosthoven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Poels to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of KFC Oosthoven booed when Ecaussinnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eivind Aaslund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Kellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Sellekaers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Kellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignace Seveneijns in the 76th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, KFC Oosthoven's Gill Franckx made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Kellberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, KFC Oosthoven's goalkeeper Wayne De Wilde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baran Taykut. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alex Holemans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecaussinnes's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Holemans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wayne De Wilde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
