Richey Wuijts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Bryan Roekeloos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mats Kempeneers fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Helchteren's protests and gave Mats Kempeneers a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Helchteren getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Mats Kempeneers hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Richey Wuijts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guust Van Linthoud struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Rocky De Putter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helchteren. Helchteren's Bryan Roekeloos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richey Wuijts in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Richey Wuijts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Roekeloos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richey Wuijts struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bryan Roekeloos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Warnetosn. Helchteren's Bryan Roekeloos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richey Wuijts in the 22nd minute of play. Bryan Roekeloos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rik Van Meel in the 24th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timothy Van Poucke in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bryan Roekeloos saved Helchteren from getting behind. The supporters of Helchteren booed when KFC Warnetosn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richey Wuijts didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Guust Van Linthoud came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Helchteren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guust Van Linthoud couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Timothy Van Poucke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryan Roekeloos. Helchteren's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timothy Van Poucke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Van Poucke in the 43rd minute of play forced Helchteren's goalkeeper Bryan Roekeloos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryan Roekeloos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richey Wuijts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half KFC Warnetosn were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richey Wuijts to strike the kick off in the second half. KFC Warnetosn's Timothy Van Poucke got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bryan Roekeloos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when KFC Warnetosn's Richey Wuijts shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Timothy Van Poucke kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Richey Wuijts had several of the Helchteren's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Bryan Roekeloos as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Helchteren's zone, Richey Wuijts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryan Roekeloos came out of the goal and Richey Wuijts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryan Roekeloos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timothy Van Poucke in the 73rd minute. If Timothy Van Poucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Richey Wuijts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Roekeloos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richey Wuijts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bryan Roekeloos having to make a save. Timothy Van Poucke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryan Roekeloos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Timothy Van Poucke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Roekeloos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Helchteren's Mats Kempeneers got a free kick in the 88th minute. KFC Warnetosn's Richey Wuijts managed to work through Helchteren's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Richey Wuijts dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Richey Wuijts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KFC Warnetosn's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
