Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Richey Wuijts made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Warnetosn's zone, Ignace Seveneijns stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rocky De Putter came out of the goal and Ignace Seveneijns tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KFC Warnetosn's Rocky De Putter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignace Seveneijns in the 11th minute of play. The nice shot from Timothy Van Poucke in the 12thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Wayne De Wilde had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Richey Wuijts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignace Seveneijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignace Seveneijns blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rocky De Putter having to make a save. Ignace Seveneijns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rocky De Putter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wayne De Wilde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timothy Van Poucke in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, KFC Oosthoven's goalkeeper Wayne De Wilde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timothy Van Poucke. Wayne De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richey Wuijts in the 27th minute of play. 1-0 came in the 29th minute when Christopher Bal all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Wayne De Wilde. Ignace Seveneijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timothy Van Pouckes short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Wayne De Wilde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Timothy Van Poucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignace Seveneijns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 minutes, Rik Van Meel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Warnetosn and the KFC Oosthoven players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Josef Sellekaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, KFC Warnetosn's goal looked a bit too open when Ignace Seveneijns came free, but Rocky De Putter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josef Sellekaers to make the kick off. After some careless play in the KFC Warnetosn defense, Ignace Seveneijns kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rocky De Putter. The KFC Warnetosn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rocky De Putter should have stopped the shot. The supporters of KFC Oosthoven booed when KFC Warnetosn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Clinckspoor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignace Seveneijns could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rocky De Putter made a huge save. Rocky De Putter was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Josef Sellekaers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Josef Sellekaers really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Timothy Van Poucke struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Wayne De Wilde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Warnetosn. When KFC Warnetosn's Richey Wuijts in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Oosthoven's goalie prevented a goal. KFC Warnetosn were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after KFC Oosthoven's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christopher Bal took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Van Leemputt during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michael Van Leemputt hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Richey Wuijts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, KFC Warnetosn's Timothy Van Poucke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wayne De Wilde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wayne De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy Van Poucke in the 95th minute of play. Gill Franckx kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by KFC Oosthoven's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christopher Bal was slow to take the kick. During this time KFC Warnetosn's players had a chance to rest. KFC Oosthoven's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
