Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brian Vincke kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Alex Holemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diedrik Reiniers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Kindermans's late challenge caught a Ecaussinnes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Kindermans helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Rani Boys got a freekick which was hit by Dante Kindermans. Diedrik Reiniers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baran Taykut in the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Alex Holemans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecaussinnes's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Holemans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diedrik Reiniers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecaussinnes's Björn Kellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Baeten in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Rani Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Eivind Aaslund came free, but Diedrik Reiniers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rani Boys's Diedrik Reiniers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Taykut in the 16th minute of play. Diedrik Reiniers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Holemans in the 18th minute of play. Brian Vincke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecaussinnes's Björn Kellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Schoenmaekers in the 25th minute of play. Brian Schellekens hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Rani Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Taykut came free, but Diedrik Reiniers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Kenney Reiniers in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ecaussinnes's Stratos Charoulis. The crowd rose to their feet as Jilian Vrins kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Björn Kellberg. That made the score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baran Taykut made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baran Taykut got free with Diedrik Reiniers in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Brian Vincke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes Ecaussinnes got a freekick which was hit by Brian Schellekens. A collision led to Rani Boys getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jilian Vrins hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Rani Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Holemans came free, but Diedrik Reiniers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remy Schoenmaekers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Rani Boys's goalkeeper Diedrik Reiniers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eivind Aaslund. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Vincke in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Kellberg saved Ecaussinnes from getting behind.
