After 2 played minutes KRC Bambrugge got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Diependaele. Rik Van Meel hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Rocky De Putter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Richmond Van Malcot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, KFC Warnetosn's Timothy Van Poucke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willy Poets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ernest Konings charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernest Konings the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KFC Warnetosn getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ernest Konings hit a great ball. Felix Van Meenen's late challenge caught a KFC Warnetosn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Van Meenen helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Van Meenen in the 31st minute of play forced KFC Warnetosn's goalkeeper Rocky De Putter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Timothy Van Poucke came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the KFC Warnetosn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timothy Van Poucke couldn't finish the play. KRC Bambrugge's Willy Poets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timothy Van Poucke in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Van Poucke in the 41st minute of play forced KRC Bambrugge's goalkeeper Willy Poets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willy Poets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richey Wuijts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Van Meenen made a kick off. If Richmond Van Malcot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timothy Van Poucke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Willy Poets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KRC Bambrugge's Willy Poets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save KRC Bambrugge from getting a goal against them. In the 60th match minute, KRC Bambrugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Aelgoet to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richey Wuijts in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willy Poets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Willy Poets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richey Wuijts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willy Poets was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Richey Wuijts capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richey Wuijts really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Mathias Saelens kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Bastian Luijten's late challenge caught a KRC Bambrugge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bastian Luijten helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, KFC Warnetosn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Luijten to maneuver through the defense. Felix Van Meenen struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Rocky De Putter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KRC Bambrugge. KFC Warnetosn's Rocky De Putter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Van Meenen in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Warnetosn's zone, Felix Van Meenen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rocky De Putter came out of the goal and Felix Van Meenen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richmond Van Malcot in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rocky De Putter saved KFC Warnetosn from getting behind.
