A collision led to Rani Boys getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Diedrik Musseeuw hit a great ball. With a little luck, Rani Boys's Diedrik Reiniers got control of the ball when Christopher Bal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timothy Van Poucke got free with Diedrik Reiniers in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
