Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 100) FC Kuurne's Claude Degraef proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kuurne from getting a goal against them. Jilian Vrins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Degraef having to interfere. Senne Van Casteren charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Senne Van Casteren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 14 minutes into the game, Brian Vincke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Claude Degraef was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Remy Schoenmaekers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claude Degraef read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Brian Vincke notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Kuurne's Claude Degraef. Claude Degraef was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jilian Vrins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claude Degraef made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Vincke in the 32nd minute. Remy Schoenmaekers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Claude Degraef made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Jilian Vrins sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lukas Rockeloos during the 38th minute. The audience held their breath when Dean Baeten in the 47th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Claude Degraef's left hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthoon Vandamme to make the kick off. Jilian Vrins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dean Baeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Claude Degraef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Brian Vincke came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Rani Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Vincke couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kuurne's goalkeeper Claude Degraef, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claude Degraef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jilian Vrins in the 74th minute of the match. Claude Degraef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Vincke in the 75th minute of play. When Brian Vincke fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rani Boys's protests and gave Brian Vincke a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, Rani Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Vincke to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Dean Baeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Kuurne's Claude Degraef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jilian Vrins in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Vincke in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Kuurne's goalkeeper Claude Degraef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Kuurne's Dries Gobeleyns got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Claude Degraef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Vincke in the 85th minute of play. There was no doubt that Rani Boys were the better team. Rani Boys's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
