Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Izak de Reyck kicked off to start the match. Sven Verhasselt might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryan Roekeloos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Verhasselt ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Sven Verhasselt managed to get in a good position for a shot. KB Les Mauves FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Verhasselt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryan Roekeloos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guust Van Linthoud got free with Roel Eggermont in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, KB Les Mauves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Kempeneers came free, but Roel Eggermont reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryan Roekeloos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Ontañon's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The KB Les Mauves FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when KB Les Mauves FC's Horacio Ontañon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22nd minute, Sven Verhasselt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bryan Roekeloos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. KB Les Mauves FC's Roel Eggermont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedict Van Castel in the 29th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Horacio Ontañon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Helchteren's Bryan Roekeloos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Kempeneers in the 32nd minute of play forced KB Les Mauves FC's goalkeeper Roel Eggermont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryan Roekeloos came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by KB Les Mauves FC's Sven Verhasselt. But to his dismay, Sven Verhasselt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Helchteren's Bryan Roekeloos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Verhasselt in the 38th minute of play. Tim-Jan Bogaerts took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bryan Roekeloos. Helchteren's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute, Sven Verhasselt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bryan Roekeloos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5.

The wind increased when Sven Verhasselt made the kick off in the second half. Bryan Roekeloos was a little too slow when Horacio Ontañon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-7. KB Les Mauves FC's Horacio Ontañon got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 73 minutes, Horacio Ontañon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KB Les Mauves FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Ontañon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Helchteren's Bryan Roekeloos got control of the ball when Sven Verhasselt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, KB Les Mauves FC's Sven Verhasselt made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryan Roekeloos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Helchteren's Bryan Roekeloos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Helchteren from getting a goal against them. The Helchteren fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KB Les Mauves FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
