Willy Poets came out of the goal and Hamdi Abdul Qadir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnout Schroons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richmond Van Malcot got free with Arne Stuycken in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Felix Van Meenen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Stuycken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Stuycken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Van Meenen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, KRC Bambrugge's Mathias Saelens got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Arnout Schroons got a free kick in the 34th minute. The KRC Bambrugge players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Brugge were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Van Meenen to strike the kick off in the second half. Arne Stuycken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richmond Van Malcot in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Richmond Van Malcot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KRC Bambrugge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, KRC Bambrugge's Felix Van Meenen got a free kick in the 71st minute. Arne Stuycken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richmond Van Malcot, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute.
