When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Alex Holemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Roekeloos having to interfere. In the 64th minute Baran Taykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Roekeloos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Helchteren getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Guust Van Linthoud hit a great ball. Bryan Roekeloos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baran Taykut's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Bryan Roekeloos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Holemans in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Baran Taykut made a precise shot to the right of Bryan Roekeloos. Helchteren's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After some careless play in the Helchteren defense, Baran Taykut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bryan Roekeloos. The Helchteren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bryan Roekeloos should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Baran Taykut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryan Roekeloos. Helchteren's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baran Taykut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. There was no doubt that Ecaussinnes were the better team. Ecaussinnes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
