Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) After 4 minutes of play, KRC Bambrugge's Felix Van Meenen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wart Keldermans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wart Keldermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richmond Van Malcot in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 minutes De Matoekoes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Berten Meersman who took care of the corner kick. Willy Poets was a little too slow when Corneel Aelemans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 17th minute of the match Constantijn Uyterhelcht shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wart Keldermans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Van Meenen during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felix Van Meenen kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Bobby De Roeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Matoekoes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KRC Bambrugge the free kick. The supporters of KRC Bambrugge booed when De Matoekoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby De Roeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corneel Aelemans struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Willy Poets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Matoekoes. Willy Poets came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by De Matoekoes's Corneel Aelemans. But to his dismay, Corneel Aelemans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jannick Valckeneers hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Wart Keldermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Van Meenen in the 39th minute of play. Felix Van Meenen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, De Matoekoes's Bobby De Roeck got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Richmond Van Malcot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantijn Uyterhelcht kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Corneel Aelemans to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Van Meenen in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wart Keldermans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, De Matoekoes's Bobby De Roeck got a free kick in the 71st minute. Felix Van Meenen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 74 played minutes De Matoekoes got a freekick which was hit by Wout Vissenaeckens. De Matoekoes's Wart Keldermans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save De Matoekoes from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, KRC Bambrugge's Richmond Van Malcot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wart Keldermans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Vandenberge charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Vandenberge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, De Matoekoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Vandenberge to maneuver through the defense. Wart Keldermans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richmond Van Malcot in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richmond Van Malcot got free with Wart Keldermans in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Joe De Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Matoekoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Joe De Beck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willy Poets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the KRC Bambrugge players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for De Matoekoes.
