Björn Kellberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecaussinnes's Björn Kellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richey Wuijts in the 20th minute of play. Björn Kellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy Van Poucke in the 21st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Baran Taykut put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rocky De Putter. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernest Konings during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ernest Konings hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The Ecaussinnes fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Ecaussinnes's Baran Taykut looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to KFC Warnetosn getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Richey Wuijts hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Ecaussinnes's goal looked a bit too open when Richey Wuijts came free, but Björn Kellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Baran Taykut made the kick off in the second half. Rocky De Putter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Holemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Rik Van Meel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rocky De Putter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baran Taykut in the 60th minute of play. But to his dismay, Baran Taykut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 71st minute Baran Taykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rocky De Putter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Taykut in the 75th minute of play forced KFC Warnetosn's goalkeeper Rocky De Putter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Baran Taykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rocky De Putter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecaussinnes's Björn Kellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Ecaussinnes from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecaussinnes fully deserved thier win.
