Bryan Roekeloos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diedrik Reiniers went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Axel Jespers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bryan Roekeloos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregory de Reyck during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Rani Boys:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Helchteren:s goal. The goalkeeper, Bartjan Hollants, was totally fooled by Helchteren's Quillian Cockx, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Axel Jespers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quillian Cockx hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Rani Boys's Axel Jespers got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedict Van Castel hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.
The wind increased when Izak de Reyck made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Diedrik Reiniers managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter-Maarten Aerts in the 77th minute of play forced Helchteren's goalkeeper Bryan Roekeloos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryan Roekeloos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diedrik Reiniers in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Helchteren's goalkeeper Bryan Roekeloos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Jespers. When the match was over Rani Boys could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Helchteren throughout the match.
