Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5987, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Waut Van Elsen kicked off to start the match. Bill Rutgeerts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octaaf De Ridder having to make a save. Octaaf De Ridder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benne Arnoets in the 10th minute of play. Octaaf De Ridder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benne Arnoets, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Benne Arnoets kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Octaaf De Ridder. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Wout Vissenaeckens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Matoekoes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Baki Baki the free kick. A collision led to De Matoekoes getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Wout Vissenaeckens hit a great ball. With his leg Octaaf De Ridder managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when De Matoekoes's Benne Arnoets fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Octaaf De Ridder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Rutgeerts in the 34th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Octaaf De Ridder successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 37 minutes into the match, Benne Arnoets notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Baki Baki's Octaaf De Ridder. Octaaf De Ridder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bill Rutgeerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Octaaf De Ridder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, FC Baki Baki's goalkeeper Octaaf De Ridder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bill Rutgeerts. 45 minutes into the game, Benne Arnoets recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octaaf De Ridder. Benne Arnoets showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benne Arnoets was the one to do the kick off. Benne Arnoets took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octaaf De Ridder. Octaaf De Ridder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 58 minutes into the match, Benne Arnoets had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octaaf De Ridder. FC Baki Baki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benne Arnoets was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 62nd match minute, De Matoekoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Paelemans to maneuver through the defense. Octaaf De Ridder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benne Arnoets in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Wout Vissenaeckens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Matoekoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wout Vissenaeckens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Waut Van Elsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Benne Arnoets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octaaf De Ridder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebbe Van Meerbeek struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Octaaf De Ridder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Matoekoes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benne Arnoets in the 84th minute of play forced FC Baki Baki's goalkeeper Octaaf De Ridder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Paelemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute, Benne Arnoets made a precise shot to the right of Octaaf De Ridder. FC Baki Baki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 90 minutes into the match, FC Baki Baki's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Rutgeerts came free, but Octaaf De Ridder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octaaf De Ridder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benne Arnoets went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. If Benne Arnoets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the De Matoekoes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
